FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Reagan Ingstad and Cali Halgrimson went 1-1 on the final day The EDC doubles tournament to take 2nd place. The day started with a win over Brooke Kennelly and Lilli Pokrzywinski of Red River in the semifinals. They fell in the title match to Monti Knewtson and Mini Gu of West Fargo Sheyenne.

During the end of the year awards Ingstad was named The EDC Senior Athlete of the year.  

Hannah Dockter and Hannah Aberle were also in action Saturday. They came up just short of a trip to state with a loss to Claire Johnson and Grace Aas of Fargo South in a qualifying match.

Ingstad and Halgrimson, who were runners up last year, will begin play in the state doubles tournament Friday in Grand Forks.
