JAMESTOWN, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com) The 2018 State Class B High School Baseball Tournament begins Thursday at Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown with eight teams playing in four games. The Region Champs from regions 1-8 will have the opportunity of winning a state title, all they have to do is win three games in a row. The Aggies of Park River/Fordville-Lankin are the defending State champs and were picked as the number two seed and will play the second game of the day against Des Lacs/Burlington. Here are the matchups for Thursday, May 31 at Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown:

Game 1 – 11:30 a.m. – No. 3 Carrington vs. Enderlin/Maple Valley
Game 2 – 35 minutes after Game 1 – No. 2 Park River/Fordville-Lankin vs. Des Lacs-Burlington
Game 3 – 4:30 p.m. – No. 1 Thompson vs. Rugby
Game 4 – 35 minutes after Game 3 – No. 4 Velva-Drake/Anamoose vs. No. 5 Beulah

All Carrington games will be broadcast on AM 1600 KDAK the Cardinal and newsdakota.com

All Enderlin/Maple Valley games will be broadcast on Q101.1 FM and newsdakota.com.

Coverage of the Carrington vs. EMV game will start about 11:15am pregame, 11:30am first pitch on both KDAK and Q101.
