JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hundreds of kite flyers, both amateur and professional, were at Medinger Park in Jamestown for one of the largest kite festivals in the Midwest.

The “Wings on Strings” kite club in Jamestown put together the first ever kite festival 24 years ago, which has now grown to be a staple for kite flyers nationally.

The free event featured kite building, flying demonstrations, wind instruments, and professional kite flying team 180 Go returned with 10 of their 16 members.
