JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dawson Douty tossed a complete game three hitter leading Jamestown to a 3-0 win over the West Fargo Aces Saturday night at Day two of the 5th Annual Phil Brown Classic.

The right hander retired 13 of the last 15 batters he faced. He walked two and struck out two.

Post 14 got did all their damage in the fifth inning. Aaron Kleven started the inning with a single to right field. Douty sacrificed him to second and Ryder Lunzman moved him to third on a single to right. Tommy Falk, who leads the team in rbi, did his job with a ground out to second which plated Kleven with the first run of the game. Chris Erickson was hit by a pitch before Max Anderson drove in Lunzman with a base hit to right. Kohl Kratz capped the scoring with an rbi single brining in Erickson.

Carter Evenson pitched well in the loss for the Aces. He scattered eight hits over seix innings. He did not walk a batter, hit two, and struck out seven.

Post 14 is now 11-8 on the year and will wrap up the tournament with two games today. They play Minot at 9:30 and Gillette, Wyoming at 7:30. Both games can be heard on 1400 ESPN and NewsDakota.com.
