JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Carrington woman will be held on $250,000 bond after being charged with the related death of her child.

Court documents show that Justice Lange, 25, was charged with manslaughter, a Class B felony, and child neglect, a Class C felony, in Southeast District Court Thursday. Judge Jay Schmitz set bond at $250,000 or $500,000 surety with requirements of participating in the 24/7 program and not leave the state of North Dakota if she is released.

4 month-old Tyr Lange was found dead July 7th in rural Stutsman County.

Lange was arrested for several outstanding warrants earlier in July. She informed law enforcement that she could not remember some of the days leading up to her arrest or where she had left her 4 month-old son Tyr.

The baby’s body was found after searchers discovered it near a slough in rural Stutsman County July 7th.
