CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A variety of topics including crop variety and new technology will be discussed at the upcoming 59th Annual NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center Field Day July 17th.

Two crop tours will take place and give participants an opportunity to view research trials and receive current production information. Greg Endres is an Extension agronomist at the center.

Endres says the center will be able to highlight different work they’ve been doing as well as different crop reports from their research.

Endres encourages crop advisers, farmers and anyone who works with them to participate in the field days. He says they hold numerous private and sometimes public tours, but they put a lot of resources into their field day.

In addition to the agronomy tours, field day visitors will have the opportunity to attend fruit, livestock and sustainable agriculture tours. The center is located at 663 Highway 281 NE of Carington, North Dakota.
