JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Over the years, DW Groethe has earned a reputation for his poems and tunes across the region.

This Sunday, he’ll bring his act to the Historic 1883 Stutsman County Courthouse.

Groethe was born and raised in Western North Dakota. He learned to play the guitar and started writing songs and poems about life out West. Courthouse Site Supervisor Steve Reidburn says he met Groethe when he was at Fort Buford.

Reidburn says Groethe has an extensive list of accomplishments as he’s continued to perform in the region.

Reidburn says Groethe will perform for free this Sunday at 1 PM at the Historic Stutsman County Courthouse.
