BUCHANAN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An area non-profit offering a unique therapy service for the region through horses is beginning to see physical progress on their new arena.

“A Moment of Freedom” is a non-profit organization located in Buchanan, North Dakota. They’re creating the horse-riding program for those with special needs.

Founder/President Annie Keffeler said on Wednesday that they were excited to finally have work being done on the outdoor arena. As work on that continues, the staff of “A Moment of Freedom” continue to train to provide the service.

Kelli Connolly is the Program Director and recently had a great experience at an worldwide competition.

With the construction of the arena and training expected to continue, the group is looking at opening up their services in the summer of 2019. Keffeler says they’re also working on continued fundraising for the project.
