Leona Regner passed away peacefully on September 4, 2018 at the Wishek Living Center, surrounded by her family.  She was born September 7, 1919 to Emilia (Retzlaff) and Wm. Becker. Leona was the oldest of eleven children growing up in the Streeter Flat area. She grew to adulthood in the Napoleon, Burnstad area.   Leona was united in marriage to Arnold “Hap” Regner raising their family: Arnold Regner Jr. (deceased) (Shirley), Gerald Regner (Alice), Mary Jane Lemnus (Don), Dale Regner (Susie), Victor Regner (Helen), Joan Bitz (deceased) (Alex), Susan Marie (deceased), and Tom Regner (Linda).  

Along with her children, Leona has 23 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, two brothers:  Wallace (Lenora) Becker, Napoleon, ND; Roger (Betty) Becker, Bismarck, ND; brother-in-law Leon Goebel, Wishek, ND.

Six brothers and two sisters preceded her in death along with her husband, son and two daughters.  

Faith was the foundation of Leona’s life.  She led others by her example, with prayer, words of encouragement and the kindness, shown to others.

Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 am Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon, North Dakota.  Visitation will be 6-7 pm Friday at the church with a Rosary and prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church.
