Hi-Liners Return to Hanna Field

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- VCHS football snapped their long losing streak last week in Grafton, they return home Friday and look to win at Hanna Field for the first time in 5 games.

Against The Spoilers, The Hi-Liners scored in the final minute of the 1st quarter and carried that momentum to a 20-0 halftime advantage en route to the 32-0 win. Coach Scott Roehrich said taking the lead set the tone

Wahpeton heads to Hanna Field without a win. They’ve lost Central Cass, Turtle Mountain and St.Mary’s; opponents have outscored The Huskies 147-34. Similar to the position Valley City was a season ago, Wahpeton is trying to replace a big senior class that included all their skill players.

In spite of some inexperience in areas, coach Roehrich says they can anticipate Huskie football

Pregame starts around 6:45, kick off is at 7:00 on KOVC 1490AM/96.3FM with video stream at NewsDakota.com
