OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter senior quarterback threw for two touchdowns, and ran in for two more as the fifth ranked Imperials defeated Oakes 28-7 to remain perfect on the season.

The Tornadoes (4-1, 2-1 Class 9-Man Region III) struck first midway thru the first quarter on a 20 yard touchdown pass from Garret Meehl to Taylor Schall.

However, NGS (5-0, 4-0) capitalized on a couple of Tornado turnovers on the slightly wet field, and never looked back. Logan Sell did amass more than 100 yards in the defeat.

NGS welcomes Kidder County Friday, September 21, while Oakes head to LaMoure to suit up against LaMoure-Litchville/Marion. Coverage on The Tornado KDDR-AM 1220/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com starts at 6:30, with kick at 7 p.m.
