LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Ellie Holen had nearly as many kills as the entire Maple Valley team as she led LaMoure-Litchville-Marion to a straight set win over the Raiders Thursday night in the Loboes homecoming match.

The finals were 25-10, 25-13 and 25-23. In set two, LLM scored the last 15 points for the win.

On the night, Holen had 13 kills. Maple Valley had 14 as a team, led by Breanna Walburn;s five. Holen added 3 service aces. Ryleigh Podoll had eight kills. Ashlyn Rode chipped in five kills, two aces and five digs. Allie Hebl had 19 set assists and four digs while Ana Mart led the defense with seven digs.

After Breanna Walburn’s five kills. Courtney Hovelson, Madison Olson and Emma Tichy each had two. Kaylee Janish had 8 set assists.

The Loboes are 9-4 overall and will host Midkota and Enderlin next week. The Enderlin match will be the Game of the Week on Thursday on Thunder Country 98.3 and newsdakota.com. Maple Valley falls to 2-7 and will host Barnes County North and Sargent Central Monday and Tuesday respectively next week.
