JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador’s and Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the customer service award for September to Rachel Macdonald of I Will Fitness.

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeded their requirements or expectations.

Rachel’s letter of nomination stated:

“Rachel is an instructor at I Will Fitness. We have our weekly group exercise class provided to our clients at Triumph, Inc. The clients we serve have a variety of different disabilities, yet she can always engage them in whatever works for their abilities. She also has gone above and beyond with one of the young men we serve. He has an interest in looking around the building and seeing how things work. She took the time to show him around and look at what he was interested in with him, so he could gain his comfort level and trust there. She has also assisted with cleaning when our staff would have been happy to help out. She insisted that she help clean a mess that was left behind. She has had such great rapport with our clients and they are eager to see her and work hard for her approval in the classes. Having a class schedule opportunity with I Will Fitness has been amazing, but having her assist to put a smile on the faces of those we serve has been even better.”

Rachel, along with the other winners, will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual banquet in January 2019. Customer service award nomination forms are available at the Chamber office and at jamestownchamber.com.
