JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown will be celebrating homecoming with a lot of different weekend events this year.

The week was fully celebrated by University of Jamestown faculty and students. Erin Edinger, Director of Student Activities, says all of the festivities for students included contests, games, and entertainment. She said it began Sunday with coronation.

While things wind down for the students, other events ramp up for alumni and the community. Kelsey Deragisch, Director of Alumni Relations, says they’ll have numerous alumni games today including softball, basketball, and wrestling. The Friday night festivities continue after the Homecoming Band and Choir Concerts with the All Class Alumni and Friends Social at Shady’s.

One of the big events is the Saturday morning street fair before the football game.

A Booster Club Tailgating Party will be from 11:30 to 1 PM and a post-game social at the Gladstone will be held following the football game.
