JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center’s No Excuses Program returns this month to reduce and eventually eliminate barriers to women’s care.

Every year, Central Valley Health, North Dakota Women’s Way Jamestown Regional Medical Center and the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Foundation partner to eliminate barriers for women to receive care and encourage them to schedule preventative screenings.

JRMC Radiology Manager Jason Schaffer says this ranges from finding a ride to providing daycare while they receive their care.

Since its inception, more than 100 women have received potentially life-saving screenings. No Excuses made this possible for those who may have otherwise been unable to afford it.

Dr. Bailey Runkles, Gynecologist & Obstetrician at the JRMC, will be providing a lot of the services that No Excuses will provide.

Market Manager Katie Ryan-Anderson thanked the multiple agencies and businesses who have donated for the past 11 years to help fund the No Excuses program.

This year’s No Excuses will be held October 23rd from 11 AM to 6 PM and October 24th from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. New this year will also be a No Excuses day for educators and support staff on November 12th from 8 AM to 3 PM.
