JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown senior middle hitter Courtney Peterson was selected as a member of the first-team all-state for the second year in a row. Peterson lead the Jays to the state tournament for the third consecutive time, where they finished in 8th place after losing all three matches in the fifth set.

Peterson finished with 435 kills, which is a Blue Jay single-season record. She also set the career kills record with 1476 during her four-year run (2015-18).

Joining Peterson on the first-team were region athletes of the year, Kennedy Harris of Mandan and Averi Beyer of Davies.
