JAMESTOWN, N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) – Thursday night Jamestown girls will open up the 2018-2019 home hockey schedule as the four time defending state champions from South Dakota come John L. Wilson Arena.

Blue Jay head coach Andy Fitzgerald says there are several keys if the Jays are going to get by a team like the Cougars.

 

The Blue Jays have a wealth of talent back from last year including leading scorer Ella Roaldson and goaltender Erin Anderson. Fitzgerald says having Anderson back is big.

 

 

Aberdeen is 1-0 on the year this year and Fitzgerald says they know this will be a good team they will be facing.

 

 

Faceoff is set for 7pm and you can hear the game on ESPN Jamestown with the pregame show at 6:45.
