JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Day two of the 2018 Class B girls Stutsman County Tourney was held of Friday with another four games at the Jamestown Civic Center, here are the results:

Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter 49  Warwick 46

In another close game for the Imperials, Junior Bailey Heflin poured in a game high 26 points and eight rebounds to help NGS come back from an early seven point deficit and move into the consolation championship on Saturday. Sydney Kleingartner added 10. The Lady Warriors were led by Senior Madison Leaf with 21 points, eight rebounds and five steals. NGS improves to 2-2, Warwick drops to 1-4.

Midkota 44  Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier 32

Junior Brenna Anderson had 15 and Freshman Hunter Peterson added 12 points to help the Mustangs beat the Rebels in the second game of the day. Nicole Beckley had six points and 13 rebounds. EKM was led by Jocelynn Madcke with 12 points and eight rebounds. Midkota picks up their first victory of the year and improve to 1-3, EKM drops to 1-2.

Carrington  73     Ellendale  46
McKenzie Johnson scored 14 points to lead Carrington’s balanced scoring attack in a 73-46 victory over Ellendale. Kiera Eli and Marah Schmitz both added 12 points in the Carrington win. Carrington shot 51% from the field overall and were even better from the 3 point arc draining 9 of 17 from three point land for a sizzling 53%. Johnson made 4 of 7 from long rangeand has made 10 threes in the tournament. Katelyn Dathe paced Ellendale with a game high 15 points and 11 rebounds. Abigail Molan added 11 points for Ellendale. Carrington improved to 2-1 on the season and will advance to the championship game to face MPB. Ellendale dropped to 2-2 and will face South Border in the 3rd place game.
Medina-Pingree-Buchanon (MPB)  53     South Border (SB)  32
Megan Moser scored a game high 20 points and 4 steals to help lead the Thunder to a 53-32 victory over SB. Amanda Allen added 16 points and a game high 10 rebounds to aid the MPB win. Emily St. Aubin paced the Mustangs with 10 points and also had 10 rebounds. MPB improved to 3-0 and will play Carrington in the 2018 Stutsman County championship game. SB dropped to 1-2 overall and will play Ellendale in the 3rd place game.
