JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On November 8th, 2018, 11 year-old Isabella Sandstrom was seriously injured after being struck by a truck while crossing the street.

On Monday, January 7th, members of Jamestown United Way donated a laptop to Isabella for her to use for school work while she continues to undergo rehabilitation. Jamestown United Way Board President Katie Mittleider says the organization was happy to donate the new laptop to Isabella.

Kathleen Sandstrom, Isabella’s mother, was grateful for the donation and says the laptop will be a great help to her daughter.

Isabella says she still has broken bones, but is looking forward to hanging out with her friends again without being supervised.

A GoFundMe set up for Isabella after the accident raised over $6,084 as of Monday.
