VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The top pool players will be competing for prize money during the 7th annual Sharp Shooter Showdown 8 ball singles tournament on Saturday, January 19 in the Valley City Eagles Club 345 12th Avenue Northeast.

Registration begins at 8:30am. Calcutta starts at 9:30am. The tournament starts at 10:30am on 10 tables sponsored by Jamestown Music.

$50 entry fee paying 8 spots minimum with 100 percent payback. No green fees for the tables. 575 point rating. A Division (500-575), B Division (425-500), C Division 425 and below). Based on Fargo ratings and our discretion. 1-game handicap for players rated 500-575. Double elimination. Race to 3 winners and losers.

Hard luck tournament offered to first 16 out. No entry fee required. $100 for 1st place.

$10 raffle tickets will be sold the day of the tournament at the Eagles Club for a chance to win a Lucasi pool stick valued at $500. The drawing will be held at 2pm the day of the tournament.
