BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With most hunting seasons wrapped up earlier this year, Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says the focus shifts to ice fishing.

Leier says right now, fish are biting in many different spots in the region.

Leier says another great factor for ice anglers are the ice conditions, which have been really good so far.

Leier says as always when it comes to ice fishing, anglers need to remember the daily limit and other important rules and regulations.

Leier says the possession limit is still 10. He encourages everyone to get outdoors and ice fish, but brush up on rules before hitting the ice.

You can listen to Doug Leier every Thursday at 7:20 AM with JD in the Morning on Big Dog Country 95.5 FM.
