KENSAL, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) In the Thunder Country 98.3 FM game of the week at Kensal gymnasium, the Loboes of Lamoure/Litchville-Marion sweep the Mustangs of Midkota, 69-36 in the girls varsity contest and 55-40 in the boys game. No. 8 LLM girls improve to 12-1 overall and 3-0 in District 5 and have won five games in a row. The LLM boys improve to 7-3 overall and 1-0 in District 5. Midkota girls fall to 2-10 overall and 1-3 in D5, Midkota boys fall to 2-9 overall and 0-3 in D5.

In the girls game, the Loboes had nine players score, leading the way with 19 was Junior Ellie Holen and two players had 10 each, Kaylynn Siedschlag and Allie Hebl. The Mustangs were led by Brenna Anderson with 12. The Mustangs committed 16 turnovers and shot 8/15 at the charity stripe. The Loboes committed only seven turnovers and 13/17 at the line.

Senior Jamison Kramer led all scorers with 21 points for the Loboes in the boys game, including a third quarter steal and a one-handed dunk. Rory Gentzkow added 15, including four 3-pointers. The Mustangs were led by Breck Ehlers with 11.

Next Thunder Country game of the week will be Thursday, Jan. 17th at Kulm, as Lamoure/Litchville/Marion will take on fellow district five team the Rebels of Edgeley/Kulm/ Montpelier in girls Class B hoops, action will start about 7pm.
