MILLARTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called to a tractor fire inside a building in Millarton just before 5 PM Wednesday.

Rural Fire Chief Ben Maulding says units responded to 4835 77th Avenue Southeast for a tractor fire. Chief Maulding reports that the fire was caused by an electrical problem with the tractor. The fire was held to just the engine compartment and caused extensive damage to the tractor. There was no injuries or damage reported to the structure.

Three rural units and seven firefighters were on the scene for roughly 45 minutes.
