Hi-Liners Crown 3 Champions at EDC Tournament; Qualify 14 for State

 

FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Saturday was another successful EDC Tournament for The Hi-Liner wrestling team. Of the 16 wrestlers they entered 14 qualified for Thursday’s state tournament. Overall Valley City scored 117 points to finish 4th, Grand Forks Central qualified 16 and had 223 points for 1st place.

Taking home championships were Parker Larson (138), David Peterson (160) and Jaden Oestern (HWT). Third place finishers were Koye Grebel (106) , Bennett Rogelstad (113) and Tyson Hovland (145).

Austin Rogelstad (120) , Evan Mielke (138) and Cade Powers (182) placed 5th. Jonah Schuldheisz (152) and Ethan Miller (106) took 6th, Ezra Hanse (145) and Ethan Langemo (195) 7th and Jonathan Redfearn (170) 8th.
