BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – State Senator Larry Robinson of Valley City voted to support Senate Bill 2297 last week. The measure contains funding for Valley City State University’s Foss Music Hall project.
The $32 million dollar project has been a priority on the State Board of Higher Education’s Capital improvement list for the past several years, according to Robinson. He said, “We were certainly pleased with the strong vote of support in the Senator. He added, this project is long overdue. It’s a critical capital improvement need for VCSU.”
Robinson cautioned that the bill still has to be approved by the House of Representatives in the second half of the legislative session.
The measure also includes funding for NDSU’s Dunbar Hall, a chemistry classroom and Harris Hall, an Agricultural Research facility.
