JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Two Rivers Activity Center is focusing on the heart this February.
Two Rivers Activity Center Facilities Manager Amy Walters says February is American Heart Month. The month is used to raise awareness of heart disease and how it can be prevented.

The event will be called “Nourish Your Heart” and will be free and open to any community member starting at 5:30 PM.

Walters says another important event is planned for later in the month on February 27th.

Walters says through the test, individuals can learn their cholesterol levels, blood sugar, bmi and all important numbers that are used for heart health and disease prevention.
Walters says they’re looking to focus on Mental Health in March and will have more programs in the month for that.
