FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Co-EDC Champion Hi-Liner wrestling team will open the 2019 Class A State Dual Tournament against The WDA’s 3rd seed Bismarck Century.
The Patriots finished with an 8-2 mark in regional dual competition this year with an overall mark of 19-9. At their individual tournament they qualified 12 for the state tournament and compiled a team score of  127 to place 6th.
Century’s roster has just 2 seniors and 5 juniors with a whole crop of young wrestlers. Patriots’ Head coach Jerald Lemar feels the team’s are mirror imagines of each other

 
When it comes to the individual tournament, there are 2 instances where The Patriots and Hi-Liners will meet in the first round while several other weight classes could see similar meetings in the second round. Coach Lemar knows that will have a direct impact on match ups in the dual

 
At The EDC Tournament, Valley City had 14 wrestlers qualify with 3 individual champions. Overall they finished 4th with a score of 117.
The Class A dual tournament begins at 11am, coverage on KOVC 1490/ 96.3 FM and NewsDakota.com starts around 10:45.
