JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Anne Carlsen Center raised nearly a half-million dollars during the annual 24-hour giving event.
Giving Hearts Day, the largest day of giving in North Dakota, has raised millions of dollars for area charities for over a decade. The Anne Carlsen Center raised approximately $465,000, placing them in the top 5 of the most raised from Giving Hearts Day.
While official placing is yet to come, the Anne Carlsen Center said in an email to supporters that the annual event has turned into one of importance “to the financial stability of the organization.”
Almost $16.3 million was raised for charities and funds in North Dakota and Western Minnesota.
