City-County Health District and CHI Mercy Health (hospital) will hold a fasting community cholesterol screening Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 7-9 a.m. (7:30-8:30 a.m. if there are not enough people participating). It will be held at the CCHD facility located at 415 2nd Ave. NE, Ste. 101 (west of Leevers North). This test will include your total cholesterol, HDL/LDL cholesterol, plus your blood glucose and triglycerides. The cost for the cholesterol …

Cassidy’s Ride returns on February 23rd for the 9th year of ride. This also commemorates the 10th year anniversary of Cassidy’s suicide. The annual event is a snowmobile ride to raise money for suicide education and prevention in Griggs County. Registration starts at 10 AM with the ride beginning at Noon starting at the Cooperstown Country Club. The ride returns at 6 PM to a Free Will Supper and Auction.
