BCHS Lecture Series: Joseph DeMasi – “New Zealand, Land of the Long White Cloud” @ Barnes County Museum
Jan 18 @ 7:00 pm

The Barnes County Historical Society Lecture Series Season 19 Presents: Joseph DeMasi “New Zealand, land of the long white cloud”, 7:00 PM Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at the Barnes County Museum.

Joseph DeMasi first went to New Zealand in 1974.  He ended up marrying a Kiwi, lived there for five years and still goes back a few times a year to visit his kids and now grandkids.  He will talk about New Zealand through the eyes of an expat and what it is like to live, work and raise a family as a “stranger in a strange land.”

Joseph DeMasi was born and raised in New York City.  He has worked as a professional musician his whole life, has done extensive traveling and now resides with his wife in Valley City where he shovels snow and keeps warm in winter!

The public is cordially invited.

All Lectures are at the Barnes County Historical Society Museum and held in conjunction with Valley City State University.  They are free and open to the public.

For more information, contact Wes Anderson at 701-845-0966.
