City American Legion Baseball ran into a pitching shortage, and paid the price with a 17-1 loss to Wahpeton last night at Charlie Brown Memorial Field.

Post 60 pitching gave up 19 hits and 15 earned runs, with starter Trevor Justesen allowing seven hits and eight runs over just an inning of work.

Josh Gilbertson drove in the only Valley City run with an RBI single in the fourth inning that plated Anthony Olstad.

Post 60 plays again at home against Kindred Thursday night.
