City Police Chief Dean Ross says he’s done nothing wrong as he responded to the city’s charges that he misappropriated money from 2 private and 2 public accounts while he was police chief.

Ross says the allegations against him are bogus and he defended every charge by the city during a one hour news conference in Valley City.

Ross says he’s not going to pull the plug on his job but feels the city may fire him on Friday when he returns from 5 day paid administrative leave.

Ross says he’s already moved several items out of his office since the controversy began.
