CITY (NewsDakota.com)–Both Valley City baseball teams will be in action tonight after an off-night Wednesday.
Post 60 begins a push to finish it’s regular season tonight by hosting Kindred in a Section 1 matchup. They will then finish their regular season with Lidgerwood tomorrow night.
Timing is not on Valley City’s side. Two key players are absent, with Tyler Stearns suffering from a dislocated shoulder, and Trent Egan playing in the North Dakota Shrine Bowl this week.
First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. tonight. Section 1 play begins for Valley City Tuesday at Charlie Brown Memorial Field in Valley City.
The Babe Ruth team finishes it’s regular season today by hosting Edgeley at 12:30 p.m. Their league tournament is next week as well.
