N.D.(NewsDakota.com)…The annual Lions All-Star baseketball games are Tuesday and Wednesday, as Class “A” battles Class “B” in boys and girls contests.

Tuesday, the teams will hook up at Bismarck Civic Center, with the girls game at 7:00 p.m., and the boys game at 9:00 p.m. The teams will rematch in Fargo on Wednesday, at Fargo Civic Center, with the same format.

Some local talent will dress for the Class “B” teams. Maggie Lorenz of Harvey will play in the girls game, along with Sabrina Rude of Dakota Prairie, and Rikki Schmidt of Napoleon.The head coach for Class “B” Girls will be Andy Bratten from state champion Carrington.

Class “B” Boys will have local players Easton Page of Carrington, Tanner White of Ellendale, and Kelsey Larson of Linton. Aaron Moser of Central Prairie will be an alternate. The head coach will be Jeff Hagler of state champion North Star.

The Class “A” coaches will come from state championship teams from this past March, as the girls will be under the guidance of Derek Ouren of Fargo North and the boys will be coached by Darin Matthern of Bismarck Century.

No Blue Jay boys or girls were selected to the Class “A” teams.
