CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Two former Hi-Liner football players have joined the coaching staff at VCHS for 2011.

Cameron Lentz and Aaron Heck have been hired to fill vacancies on the staff.  Lentz will coach at the varsity level, while Heck will assist Trevor Bakalar with the freshman team.  Bakalar moved from the varsity level to the freshman due to time constraints with his membership in the North Dakota Army National Guard.

Head coach Scott Roehrich likes the fit the coaches have with his team.  “They’re young, so we will work with them a bit, but they have a lot of energy and, as former Hi-Liners,  they have a positive impact on our young men,” Roehrich said.

The Hi-Liners open play August 26th at home with Carrington.
