CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Valley City native and VCSU baseball player Preston Jensen recently finished an opportunity to play with the Duluth Huskies, a summer collegiate team in the Northwoods League.

The league brings in college baseball players from around the country and places them with teams that play a 68-game schedule throughout the summer.  Jensen was a late addition to the team when Duluth lost a pitcher due to the major league draft.

Jensen was used as a designated hitter and outfielder during his run, and drove in a game-winning run in one of his early games.
