CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner tennis team was humbled by the 14-time state champion Grand Forks Red River 9-0 yesterday in an Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) matchup.

The Hi-Liners claimed just four sets in the match, two in doubles and two in singles.

Valley City has now played two of the toughest in the league.  They have a week away from competitive play.  They travel to Wahpeton next Tuesday.
