CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Carrington Cardinals swept the Valley City Hi-Liners in volleyball 3-0 in Carrington Tuesday night.

The match was the first non-tournament match for both teams.  The Hi-Liners dropped to 1-6 with the loss.

Carrington has a big test in their next matchup, facing defending state champion Langdon in Carrington Tuesday, September 6th.  The Hi-Liners host Fargo Davies Thursday, September 8th in their Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) opener.
