N.D.- The Oakes Volleyball team picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night at home as they hosted Richland County three games to none. The Tornadoes won game one 25-23, game two 25-19 and game three 28-26.

Next up for Oakes is a contest on Thursday at Hankinson, with coverage on KDDR-AM 1220 and NewsDakota.com with Bruce Junker. Coverage will start around 7 p.m.

In other area volleyball action, LaMoure defeated Lisbon three games to none by scores of 25-13, 25-9, and 25-19.
