CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Viking golf team finished 9th at the Concordia Invitational this past weekend.

The Vikings were the only NAIA school to attend.  All other schools were either NCAA Division II, with the exception of Manitoba, who won the meet, and was described by Viking head coach Nathan Stover as perhaps the top team in all of Canada.

VCSU was led by Ryan Mehus, who shot a two day 163 (81, 82), 34th overall.  Connor Paul finished with 164, and Taylor Hendrickson had a disappointing second day, firing an 86 after a first-day 79, finishing with a 165.

The Vikings play at the Bismarck State Invitational tomorrow.
