N.D.- The Oakes High School football team welcomed back a key element of their squad, and he did not disappoint.

Senior Tanner Zetocha played on a consistent basis for the first time in almost a year, and scored two touchdowns in the Tornadoes 27-14 victory over the Northern Cass Jaguars on Friday night.

Zetocha scored in the first quarter on a seven yard touchdown run, and in the second half on an 80 yard punt return for a touchdown. Adam Roney also had a big game, as he took a 61 yard run to paydirt in the third quarter.

Oakes (3-1 2-1 Class A Region I) plays their next contest at home against the Kidder County Pirates. Coverage on KDDR-AM 1220 and NewsDakota.com starts Friday at 6:30, with kickoff shortly after 7 p.m.
