N.D.- It’s been a pretty good week for those involved in the Oakes High School volleyball team.

First, the Tornadoes were able to sweep their two opponents this week versus LaMoure on Tuesday, and Fairmount-Campbell-Tintah on Thursday.

In addition, the wins this week also marked the 400th and 401st wins for Head Coach Kathy Warren. Warren has been the coach for the Tornadoes since the program was founded in 1991. Warren also started volleyball programs in Mobridge and Britton, South Dakota.

Under Warren’s tenure, the Tornadoes have been to three state tournaments, placed five players on the All- State Team, and have had four players participate in the annual Optimist volleyball game.
