City, N.D. – Valley City schools were in a “lock down” Wednesday until the sex offender was captured northwest of Tower City

Superintendent Dean Koppelman says the situation warranted a lock down of our Valley City school buildings until he was captured to ensure safety.  

Koppelman says the safety of our children is foremost in our mind and we took every necessary step to help assure their safety in this type of situation.
