City, N.D. – Police arrested a 63-year old Florida man in a Valley City parking lot after responding to a call of an intoxicated man.

The man faces several charges including resisting arrest stemming from the Sunday morning incident which happened shortly after 1am.

In other news, police say a 47-year- old Valley city man faces criminal trespassing charges after someone reported him inside the Broken Spoke bar after business hours Saturday morning shortly after 1am. No other details were available.

Authorities are also investigating a break-in of a lake home on the landing south of Sibley.

The party told the Barnes County Sheriff’s Department that a number of tools were taken. The burglary remains under investigation.
