– A man arrested after a car chase and standoff with police in Jamestown last week remains in the Stutsman County Correctional Center.

Bond of $40,000 dollars for 30-year-old Jeremy Blum of Mandan has not been posted as of Thursday morning. Blum was arrested Nov. 9 after a two-hour incident that authorities said started with a car chase and ended with a standoff in downtown Jamestown. They say Blum put a gun to his head and threatened to kill himself before surrendering.

Stutsman County assistant state’s attorney Ashley Heitkamp says Blum faces charges of reckless endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, fleeing or eluding a police officer, and unlawful use of a license.

A court date in Stutsman County has not yet been set.

On Tuesday, Blum was indicted by a South Dakota grand jury in connection with theft and burglaries in the Lemmon, S.D. area on November First.

Blum is also wanted for other alleged crimes in North Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado.
