N.D. (AP) – The Highway Patrol has released the name of
a 19-year-old man who died Saturday morning in a Renville County
accident. Kailen Sessions of Bowbells was behind the wheel when his
pickup went out of control and flipped in the ditch along state
Highway 5.
     
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Today’s the last day for victims of this
year’s spring and summer flooding in North Dakota to register for
federal disaster assistance. The deadline applies to FEMA aid and
for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business
Administration.     
    
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – The state Board of Higher Education has
signed off on North Dakota State University’s plan for dealing with
the 2009 collapse of Minard Hall. The proposal includes trying to
get nearly $5 million in funding from the Legislature. Portions of
the largest academic building at NDSU collapsed in the midst of an
expansion project.
     
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota’s deer gun hunting season
ended yesterday. But the state’s muzzleloader deer season opens at
noon this Friday and continues through December 11th. Hunters with
a lottery muzzleloader license can hunt white-tailed deer
statewide.
