–  The Jamestown Blue Jay basketball teams open the 2011-12 season tonight with a home doubleheader at Jerry Meyer Arena against Fargo Davies.

The girls varsity game is set to tip at 5:45 p.m., with the boys to follow at about 7:45 p.m. The games are non-conference for the Blue Jays.

Jamestown’s girls are coming off a state tournament appearance last season, while the boys lost out of the WDA Tournament in a state-qualifying game.

Tonight’s games will be broadcast on Classic Hits KQDJ 1400 with Jason Metko making the call.
