CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Barnes County Boys Basketball tournament resumes today at the W. E. Osmon Fieldhouse in Valley City.

There were no upsets in the first round, although #3 Griggs County Central was taken to overtime by #6 Enderlin.  The second round will follow the seed predictions.

The first game is at 3:00 p.m., with #8 Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page facing #5 Litchville-Marion-Montpelier in the consolation semifinals.  The second consolation game will pit #7 Barnes County North and #6 Enderlin.

In the semifinals, top-seed and defending champion Maple Valley will face #4 Northern Cass, and #2 Valley City meets #3 Griggs County Central.  The semifinals are scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.

All games will be broadcast on Q101 KQDJ-FM, with pregame coverage beginning at 2:30 p.m.
