– The Association of Independent Institutions announced its football season awards and All-Conference team this week, and Valley City State’s football team swept the season awards.

VCSU receiver LeTheo Proctor was named the A.I.I. Conference Offensive MVP, and teammate Jordan Maher was named the A.I.I. Conference Defensive MVP. VCSU coach Dennis McCulloch was named the A.I.I. Coach of the Year.

Eight VCSU Vikings and two Jamestown College Jimmies were named to the A.I.I All-Conference Team.

VCSU: First Team Offense – QB Tommy Zinke, RB A.J. Pfeifer, WR LeTheo Proctor, TE Ken Eliacin, OL Major Hopp. First Team Defense – DL Jordan Maher, LB Jake Thurston, DB Cody Kilthau.

Jamestown: First Team Defense: LB Drew Baier, LB Robert Nelson.
