ND (NewsDakota.com)- Danny Fisher’s 28-point night was too much for the Braves to withstand a second-half rally from the Blue Jays. Turtle Mountain opened up a 30-22 lead at halftime, but it was the Jays walking away with a 69-51 win.

Fisher spearheaded the comeback with 22 second-half points. The turning point of the game came with Jamestown down 38-32, Arron Benson was fouled and on his way to the line for a one-and-one free throw attempt.

Jalen Jeanotte, who was called for the foul, said something to the referee and was issued a technical foul. The technical foul ended the night for Jeanotte and also gave Benson four foul shots, he made all four pulling the Jays within one.

Nate Willer scored on the next trip to give Jamestown a lead they would not relinquish. Ryan Schlenker hit three big shots down the stretch from behind the arch, the last one the final nail in the coffin for the Braves.

Dyllan Anderson kept the Blue Jays in the game in the first half with a game-high 12 heading into the break. He finished with 15.

Schlenker and Benson added nine and eight, respectively.

The Blue Jays go to 2-2 on the season 2-1 in the West Region. Jamestown will travel to Devils Lake to battle the Firebirds on Tuesday night.
